A native of the Midwestern prairie, Echinacea, commonly known as purple cone flower, has become a favourite of gardeners due to its beautiful form and colour, drought resistance, and the butterflies and birds that it attracts. Native Americans used it to treat illnesses and many people believe taking it benefits the immune system.
Materials: The Echinacea pin is cast in hand patinated bronze. The flower is silver plated with copper highlights and accented with a hand formed purple-red glass bead.
